Não teve moleza contra o argentino Luciano Izzy, que mostrou dominar o jiu-jitsu brasileiro. Mas Pulguinha levou vantagem nos três assaltos. Acertou bons golpes na trocação e foi melhor ao chão, aonde chegou à posições de vantagem como a montada. No fim, triunfo por decisão unânime para o brasileiro, que manteve a invencibilidade, agora de oito vitórias.

Was not easy for Pulguinha against a BJJ expert Luciano Izzy (from Argentina). Pulga took the advantage during the 3 rounds connecting good punches and dominating on the ground. At the end he won by unanimous decision and remain undefeated with 8-0.
